While RD provides services and programs for rural health, its major input is in facilitation to ensure other organizations work together to fill workforce gaps, bear a cohesive approach to health services, and to innovate to magnify access to health concern for people living in remote, rural and regional MSW. The Federal Government has announced that it will invest 93 million in Australia's network of state Rural Workforce Agencies, with a focus on delivering more Australian trained doctors and other health professionals to regional, rural and secluded areas.
