It is important to note that scar management in relation to skin procedures starts as soon as the lesion is first presented. What, when and how the biopsy is made, and the actual treatment procedure itself need to be planned ahead with the best cosmetic intent in mind. It is always better to camouflage a well planned scar, than a poorly planned and performed surgical scar.
