To become man He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, so that two complete and accurate natures, the nature of God and the nature of man, were united in one Person truly God and truly man. They were written by holy men of God inspired by the Holy Spirit and have supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. The Sinfulness of Mankind Man was made in the image of God and for fellowship with Him. By His resurrection, God’s acceptance of His atoning end was demonstrated. Since God loved us while we were yet in our sins, we possess a vital motive for loving one another. The Holy Spirit convinces sinners of their sinfulness, leads them to personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and so brings them to spiritual birth as God’s children and to fellowship in Christ. Busy within the life of believers the Holy Spirit makes genuine the presence of Christ, witnesses to their relationship with God, leads into all truth, and produces His fruit which is the evidence of growth and maturity. All believers are called to a priestly ministry in the offering of spiritual sacrifices and sent into the world to be witnesses. The Baptism of Believers There must be the evidence of ongoing, transforming and empowering of the life of each believer. Baptism is an ordinance of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a public declaration of a person’s faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, regardless of age in accordance with Fresh Testament Scripture it should be administered ideally by total immersion which symbolizes the believer’s identification with Christ in death, burial and resurrection, the remission of sins and the believer’s dedication of himself to God to live and walk in newness of life. The mission of the Grainery is to build this Kingdom of God in three ways: Love God and love our neighbor, these are the greatest commandments. Salvation frees us from the penalty of sin and increasingly from its power as we surrender to Christ’s enabling through the indwelling of His Spirit. Mark 16:1718 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons they will speak in new tongues they will pick up snakes with their hands and when they drink deadly poison, it will not impair them at all they will place their hands on ill people, and they will get well. We are channels of the transforming power of God’s unconditional love. God is writing a story and you have a vital part to play in His story. The Lower Story is the one being written and told from a two mere perspective a horizontal and linear viewpoint. The Upper Story is the one being written and told from above, from God’s perspective a vertical, holistic viewpoint. In the Upper Story we discover what God is up to how He is weaving our story into his one divine love story. And it all starts by having faith in the grace and love of God for every person and believing that a life fully surrendered to Him and for Him becomes the life of purpose and of power. It’s the life of abundance in Christ that brings transformation to the world. Our challenges aid us see life from a much larger perspective. And as we do that, we will see His Church grow and exaggerate and bring life and hope in ways we would never have imagined possible. Our challenges assist us grow personally in our relationship with God and they also unite us as a community.
